Our Silly Boy

Bryson is a "man of many faces." He is always making funny expressions or giving you a crazy look. I put on his new "Most Eligible Bachelor" outfit & just had to take a picture of his cute self. Well, I didn't even really pay attention to his facial expression until after I took the picture.

(Side Note: So...for some of y'all you know our good friends,The Wilson's. Josh is always making the same silly face in 95% of all the pictures you take with him & we all refer to it as "The Josh Face".)

5-6 weeks old

Last Friday, The Coonrad's came to meet Mr. Bryson. (I used to nanny for them. Some of you may remember the older 2 kids, Erik & Angelina, they were the ring bearer & flower girl in our wedding). They were so happy to hold Bryson & wanted to take him home with them.

(When I was pregnant Robert said his name was Charlie Bryson, but now that Bryson is here I guess he no longer thinks Charlie is a good name so he's just Bryson)

On Thursday, Bryson went to meet his other great-grandpa "Daddy Russ." Daddy Russ was very excited to meet his only great grandchild. He was unable to hold him, but loved to watch him & give him lots of loving.

We also went by my aunt & uncles house so they could spend a little time with him. They were so glad for the surprise visit (oops! I forgot to take pictures)

Yesterday, Bryson had to go to the Dr for his 1 month check up. We are a little behind because Bryson kept losing weight after he was born so we went in several times for a weight check so that pushed his 1 month appointment back a little. He is doing very well & is healthy. Right now he is on the small side of things (still wearing only Newborn clothes), but they said its a little too early to tell if he is just small now or if he will just be a small little boy. As long as he is healthy being small is no problem :) He had to get 1 shot & wasn't very happy about that, but neither was Mommy! It breaks my heart to see him upset! But he did very well & only cried for a minute & was completely content when I held him & gave him some loving! ;)

1 month old

Where has time gone?? This past month has gone by so fast! I cant believe my baby boy is a month old! He is so sweet & loves to make lots of faces!

1 month old (1/9/2012)

My brother, Josh, left today for basic training for the National Guard. He will be gone for 5 months! We are going to miss Uncle Josh so much! We spent most of the weekend spending some time with him. Saturday we planned a surprise dinner for Josh with all of our family & his friends. Sunday we went to church & they had a reception after the service for everyone to give Josh advice & say "goodbye til June". Monday we spent most of the day with Josh packing his stuff & running last minute errands before he left. Uncle Josh is going to be so surprised how much Bryson has grown when he comes back home!

Almost a month old!

Where has this month gone?? Bryson is almost a month old! I think this month has honestly been the fastest month ever! He is the sweetest thing ever! Everything is going pretty good adjusting to a new baby. Some nights are better than others, but it's nothing too terrible. Here are some random pictures of our sweet Bryson <3
