4 month check up!

Friday we went to the Dr for Bryson's 4 month appointment! We all knew our "chunkster" was getting big, but Mommy was shocked when she saw the weight on the scale! Mr. Chunk Chunk is now 15 pounds! We couldn't believe it, but he is now actually right on target for his weight, where as before he was under weight. So that is a good thing! And it now explains why Mommy's arms are tired all the time! ;)

Dr. Rand said "Bryson is one of the happiest babies I have ever seen!" He was smiling & "talking" to her the whole time! She said he looks perfect! Of course I couldn't agree more! He now can eat cereal 2 times daily & within the next few days we will introduce him to fruits & veggies :) Bryson is now sleeping in his bed & still sleeping through the night! He usually sleeps from 10ish-7ish.

4 month stats:

weight- 15 pounds

length- 24.5 inches

4 months old

I cant believe my sweet boy is 4 months old! (Yes, this makes Mommy sad! I don't want my baby boy to get big so fast!) He smiles all the time & drools on everything! He is in 3 months clothes & size 1 diapers. Bryson is on the verge of rolling over! We think he will crawl at an early age! He will get his hands and feet under himself & scoot on his head. He hasn't figured out how to "get up on all fours" yet, but he sure tries! He also tries to pull himself up to sit up whenever we hold him, if he isn't sitting up fully.

He LOVES: smiling, being naked, his blankie, "talking", riding in his new wagon, watching TV, swinging, playing on his play mat, baths & eating

He HATES: riding in the car seat for very long, putting a shirt on, being hot & the sun in his face

We sure enjoy everyday spent with Bryson! He always puts a smile on our face!

Hoppy Easter!

We had a very busy day on Easter! We went to church with Grannie B & G-Pop (Meredith's Mom & Step-dad), went to the lake to visit with all of the McCowan family, then came back home for dinner with all our parents. The Easter Bunny came to visit Bryson & brought him a wagon! The Easter bunny also visited Brysons grandparents house, so he racked up on all sorts of fun stuff!! On Friday, Mommy & Daddy were both off (Mommy is always off on Fridays, but Daddy got Good Friday off) so we took Bryson to see the Easter Bunny! I'm sure next year wont go as smooth as this year did ;)

(For those of you that don't know, or haven't noticed we LOVE to dress Bryson & Elmer up with silly masks, outfits, etc. You never know what we will find to put on our boys!! I'm sure Bryson will very soon grow to HATE it just as much as Elmer does, but hopefully he will tolerate it!!)

Meeting My "New" Cousins

Last Friday, we met Queenie, Chip, Mary Ann & Luke (Mommy's Aunt & Cousins) at Ruby Tuesdays in Thomasville, NC for lunch. Grannie B & Nana went with us too! Cousin Chip has been was in Afghanistan from Feb- Dec 2011 & lives in Fort Knox, KY, so it had been a while since any of us had seen him! It was a great day to see everyone! Chip, Mary Ann & Luke are moving to NC in May so we will get to see a lot more of them soon! Which means Bryson & Luke will be good "cousin buddies" since they are less than 11 months apart & will soon be living SO much closer!! :)
