Happy 5th Anniversary

Yesterday, Mommy & Daddy celebrated their 5th wedding anniversary! The saying must be true "Time flies when you are having fun!" We cant believe how fast time has gone by in the last 5 years! The past 2 years (pregnancy & having Bryson) have surely gone by the fastest! We cant wait to see what the next 5 years holds for us!! ;)

10 Months (10/9/12)

 

Sorry we are a tad behind, but hey...it's better late than never right?? Bryson is now 10 months old! I cant believe our sweet baby boy is going to have a birthday VERY soon. Seems like just yesterday I was blogging about pregnancy, showers & his nursery! We still get told all the time that we have the sweetest child & I couldn't agree more!

10 months old

 

Bryson is wearing mostly 9-12 month clothes. Pajamas MUST be 12 month, but everything else just depends on what it is & who makes it. He is still in size 3 diapers. He weighs around 20 pounds (not sure of exact weight) & close to 29.5-30 inches long. He is eating more & more people food everyday! We still haven't found anything that he doesn't like except bananas, but we need to give them another try! Bryson has 7 teeth & #8 is soon to make an appearance! (4 on the top & 3 almost 4 on the bottom). Bryson is a VERY fast crawler & pulls up on anything & everything...even Elmer (our 17 pound Westie). Justin & I have heard a few new words out of Bryson, but he doesn't say them all the time, but has repeated them several times! His favorite words are still Ma Ma, Da Da & Pop Pop.

 

LIKES: eating, playing with Elmer's toys, being pushed on his train, clapping his hand, when Mommy sings silly songs, being in water, climbing on anything and everything, looking in the mirror, pulling up, grilled cheese sandwiches, crawling, "talking", & to be held (which is a huge issue that we are currently working on!!!!)

 

DISLIKES: being by himself & changing clothes

No, this is not his Halloween costume! These are awesome pajamas from his great aunt "Queenie". He loves the fact that the bones glow in the dark. When they are glowing he will just look & look at his arms & legs and smile

Please say a little prayer for my sweet boy. He has to finally be circumcised this week. (He was unable to have it done when he was born due to being born a tad early & things weren't fully developed yet, so they told us to wait until closer to a year or he would have to have surgery several times. So we took doctors orders & he is having it done this week!) Unlike when you are a newborn he will have to be put to sleep! Mommy will need a huge box of kleenex. I am not ready for this but its better to do it now than later. The doctor has assured me it will be a lot harder on me than it will be on him! He should be feeling fine in no time, which is great to hear! No one wants their child feeling bad!

 

Family Beach Trip

We went to the beach for the week with The McCowan's. We had a wonderful time & the weather was very nice! Bryson LOVES being pulled in his wagon in the sand & even in the water.  Tuesday was a rainy day so we decided to go to the aquarium & Krispy Kreme. Bryson loved all the animals & the scuba divers. He especially loved the Krispy Kreme pit stop! He is a huge fan of doughnuts now ;)

I think Bryson enjoyed his first beach trip! Vacation messed up his sleep schedule, but I think we are back on track now! He usually wakes up between 7:30-8:15. At the beach the LATEST he woke up was 6:45! One morning he woke up at 4:55 and was wide awake! Needless to say Mommy napped while he napped on that day! He usually puts himself to sleep in his crib at nap time & bedtime, but that DIDN'T happen at the beach! Luckily he is right back on track now that we are home! I couldn't take many 4:55am day!!

 

 

Family Pictures

We had family pictures taken in late July. Since the computer has been "out of service" & we had to wait for the CD of the pictures I'm just now getting to post the pictures. Of course we had to pick the hottest & most humid day of the summer, but luckily Bryson did very well! We didn't get to take as many pictures as I would of liked to because of the weather, but Bryson, Mommy, Daddy & Elmer had enough of the heat for the day!

The pictures were taken by Impressions on our Hearts by Sherri McFarland. She is a family friend & took our maternity & newborn pictures as well!

As you can tell by the last picture we were all hot & tired! But I was very pleased with the rest of the pictures!

 

9 Months Old!!

Our sweet boy is now 9 months old (9/9/12). He is getting so big & getting into everything!

Bryson now wears mostly 9 month clothes. His footed pajamas have to be 9-12 or 12 months, but everything else is 9 months. He is one of the few babies I have met that have been "true to size" for clothes. He is still in size 3 diapers. Weighs 19 pounds & 15 ounces. He is 28 1/4 inches long. He eats cereal 2x a day & food 3x a day. He now has snacks in between meals & LOVES them! He is trying more "people food" these days & we haven't found much he doesnt like except for bananas. We are trying to cut back on the bottle some & switch to a sippy cup. He does great drinking water out of a sippy cup but not a big fan of milk from a sippy cup. Bryson now has 6 teeth. He has 4 top teeth & 2 bottom teeth. He is still sleeping through the night. He usually goes to bed between 9-9:30 & gets up between 7-8. Bryson is now a crawler & pulls up on everything! Bryson also says Ma Ma, Da Da, Bry Bry, & Pop Pop.

LIKES: eating, chasing Elmer, playing with Elmer's toys, riding in the wagon, being pushed on his train, swinging at the park, laughing at everything, trying to talk,taking a bath/being in water, waving, looking in the mirror, pulling up, going to the nursery at church, being held, eating "real food (pop tarts, ice cream, chicken noodle soup, pickles, strawberries) & crawling everywhere!

DISLIKES: being by himself, being tired & bananas
